in the month of june alone, i've devoured four books:
• richard yates – easter parade
• anne tyler – a spool of blue thread
• anne tyler – the amateur marriage
• anne tyler – beginner's goodbye

now that we're at the half way mark of july, i've finished two other titles, and am currently reading jodi picoult's leaving time. i love books, and i'm a total bookworm. when possible, i try not to borrow from the library cos i'm a possessive little shit and i want everything to be mine, mine, mine. but of cos that's not very environmental friendly... nor is it wallet friendly, haha.

when it comes to books, i find myself going back to the same authors over and over again. back when i was 15, i bought my first jodi picoult book (my sister's keeper) and then within the next week i'd gotten myself two more. i think i've read almost all her books – except for the newer ones she'd co-written with her daughter – and i've got about 10-12 of them are sitting in my bookcase now 😅  the rest i borrowed from the library.

richard yates is another phenomenal writer whom i'm a fan of. i got introduced to him when i came across a copy of revolutionary road at a thrift store in glasgow, and i must've reread that book about 3 times now. i've also got my hands on 4 of his other works, and i love them all to bits!

now you know i wasn't kidding when i said i'm a real bookworm... i wish i had more time to just lay around in bed with a book and cup of green tea!
